Must go to the prison and county jail 1-2 times weekly teaching a cognitive behavior therapy employment focused curriculum. Once clients are released you will facilitate workshops each month.

Job SummaryClosing Paralegals are responsible for preparing files for closing to include the preparation of title policies, drafting of Deeds, closing statements and other legal documentation required for closing. Closers are also responsible for communicating with lenders, agents, buyers, and sellers to coordinate and prepare closing documents, scheduling, and other logistical matters as it respects real estate transactions.

Essential Functions

<li> Responsible for communicating &amp; coordinating closing processes and procedures with the Firms clients</li>
<li> Drafts and organizes various transactional documents for closing transactions such as Deeds, Affidavits, Powers of Attorney, Closing Statements, etc.</li>
<li> Prepares title commitments and policies</li>
<li> Responsible for coordinating and scheduling closings</li>
<li> Responsible for balancing accounting ledgers and the receipt and disbursement of closing funds</li>
<li> Reviews file management and accounting reports and works with Post Closing department as well as senior management to identify and remedy any outstanding closing requirements </li>
<li> Maintains detailed paper and electronic documentation for audit compliance</li>
<li> Exhibits organizational and time management skills. </li>
<li> Works well under pressure with stringent deadlines and be a team player</li>
<li> Appreciation and respect for Client confidentiality</li>

Minimum Qualifications

<li> Real estate software experience such as SoftPro, Closers Choice, Qualia preferred</li>
<li> Must have basic skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word &amp; Excel</li>
<li> Valid drivers license required</li>
<li> Must pass a criminal backgroundcheck</li>
<li> Employment is subject to a 60-day probationary period</li>
