Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Attorney / Litigation Partner / Shareholder to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation, particularly in business litigation, and will be responsible for managing complex cases, advising clients, and leading a team of junior attorneys. The opportunity for hybrid or remote is available as well, but the preference would be in the area of an office for shareholder events. If you don't have a portable book of business, attorney roles are still available.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all phases of litigation for business-related cases
- Develop and implement effective litigation strategies
- Advise clients on legal rights, obligations, and potential risks
- Lead and mentor junior attorneys and support staff
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings and motions
- Represent clients in court, mediation, and arbitration proceedings
- Conduct legal research and prepare case analyses
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and provide exceptional client service
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Must have an active book of business upwards of $1.5 million
- Exceptional analytical, research, and writing skills
- Strong oral advocacy and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize effectively
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to mentor junior attorneys
- Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
