Job Description

International Health and Medical Services is seeking a skilled Contract Coordinator to enhance the seamless operation of healthcare services. The ideal candidate will manage a variety of administrative tasks, coordinate appointments, and foster effective communication among healthcare personnel. This role is crucial for maintaining organized records, ensuring timely access to medical care, and facilitating the overall healthcare delivery process within the organization.&nbsp;
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Serves as a Contract Specialist responsible for acquisition planning, preparation of cost and price analysis for designated actions, contract negotiation, contract execution, and production management activities.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Review, analyze, coordinate, and provide determinations on production management functions from the point of pre-award survey to delivery of hardware and closeout of contracts.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Formulates negotiation objectives and negotiations contracts for hardware or services on one or more components of subsystems.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Prepares designated price and cost-analysis in accordance with current command regulations and policies.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Apply contracting principles, laws, statues, regulations, and procedures applicable to pre-award and post-award actions sufficient to procure and administer contracts.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Prepare solicitations and evaluating the resulting proposals&nbsp;</li>
<li>Develop and document a negotiation position based on price and/or cost analysis.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Conduct contract administration activities including change orders, modifications, resolution of quality issues and terminations.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Document and maintain contract files to ensure records are accurate and complete.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Communicate with through written and verbal communication with vendors/customers.&nbsp;</li>

Qualifications 
Basic Requirements/Certifications:&nbsp;&nbsp;

<li>One year of specialized experience with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Must be proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook (email), Windows, Social Media Platforms, and navigating the web.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Must have excellent oral and written communications skills.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Must have excellent customer service and self-organization skills.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Applicants must have the ability to maintain effective working relationships with all levels of employees, both inside and outside the organization.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS).&nbsp;</li>
<li>Trained in Basic First Aid.&nbsp;</li>

<li>The ability to greet and deal tactfully with the public.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>

<li>Good judgment, courage, alertness, an even temperament, and render satisfactory performance through knowledge of his/her position responsibilities.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Ability to maintain poise and self-control during situations that involve mental stress, such as fires, explosions, civil disturbances, and building evacuations.&nbsp;</li>

Education Required:&nbsp;

<li>Baccalaureate degree from an accredited educational institution authorized to grant baccalaureate degrees&nbsp;OR</li>
<li>Current civilian employee in DoD or member of the Armed Forces, who occupied an 1102 position, contracting officer position, or comparable military contracting position with authority to award or administer contracts above the simplified acquisition threshold on or before September 30, 2000.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
Physical Requirements:&nbsp;
<ul>
<li>This position is considered hazardous duty.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Required to walk unaided at a normal pace for up to 5 minutes and maintain balance.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Required to jog/fast walk up to ¼ mile.&nbsp;</li>

<li>Pass a medical examination conducted by a licensed physician within 30 days prior to initial assignment.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Be a U.S. citizen or a person lawfully admitted into the U.S. for permanent residence.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Have resided in the U.S. for the last five years (unless abroad on official U.S. government duty).&nbsp;</li>
<li>Successfully engage in and complete a thorough Background Investigation.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Poses or have ability to obtain required security clearances.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Proficiency in Spanish is preferred.&nbsp;</li>

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.&nbsp;
