Requirements:
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent; one – two years related administrative experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bi-lingual a plus.
 
Required Licensing:
Must have and be able to maintain a valid Texas State Driver’s License.
 
Key Skills and Abilities:
Able to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals and to understand instructions in a variety of formats.
 
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English). Pays attention to detail.
 
Able to speak effectively and comfortably to individuals and groups of people in a variety of mediums (i.e. in person, on the phone, and through email).

Work Environment:
Primarily in an office environment, which can be loud with many distractions. Occasional exposure to outdoor conditions. Driving sometimes required. Climbing in and out of vehicle and entering and exiting client homes, while navigating a variety of potential obstacles. Employee may be exposed to patterns of lights and darkness normally experienced while driving (i.e. traffic lights, headlights, shadows, etc.).
 
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee is regularly required to sit and may have extended periods of using a telephone, computer and other electronic devices. What You’ll Do
As a Direct Support Professional, you will support individuals with developmental disabilities in living fulfilling, meaningful lives. You will help promote independence, safety, well-being, and personal growth while serving as a strong advocate for each client.
Essential Responsibilities

Follow and implement daily routines as outlined in each client’s Individual Program Plan (IPP)
