GENERAL FUNCTION:
This position is responsible for supervising the daily operation of all the Agency group homes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

<li>Minimum of a Bachelor's degree and five years management experience and a minimum three years direct care or clinical experience in the area of developmental disabilities or of the dually diagnosed. Educational requirement may be substituted with experience on a year for year basis.</li>
<li>Demonstrated administrative knowledge and skills in fiscal, personnel, and managerial and operational process necessary for the general supervision of specialized residential care facilities. Ability to demonstrate effective leadership evident by exemplary role modeling.</li>
<li>Valid drivers license and the ability to be insured by our insurance company throughout employment. Individual will be required to travel in the course of their daily work.</li>
<li>Proficient in software programs (word processing, spreadsheet and database) and utilization of all relevant office equipment. </li>
<li>The ability to prioritize projects a must and have excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. </li>

ACCOUNTABILITY:
The Program Coordinator is directly accountable to the Residential Services Director and the Executive Director.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

<li>Responsible to provide leadership, direction and supervision to assigned personnel.</li>
<li>Work cooperatively with the Human Resources Administrator to ensure proper and consistent coverage in accordance with the contracted hours for each department.</li>
<li>Assures through monthly fiscal audits that client expenditures and records are appropriate and accurate. Assures through monthly audits for each department the appropriate and accurate implementation and completion of the emergency procedures, preventative maintenance and vehicle maintenance checklists.</li>
<li>Chairs bi-monthly Residential Manager meetings and periodically attends staff meetings at the home (minimum 2 per month).</li>
<li>Ensures proper disciplinary action of appropriate agency personnel and works cooperatively with the Human Resources Administrator in making recommendations to the Executive Director.</li>
<li>Provides feedback on staff performance to ensure a fair and consistent evaluation process in accordance with agency policies and the union contract.</li>
<li>Responsible for training and development of new Residential Managers and helps performs duties of Residential Managers during periods of extended vacancies.</li>
<li>Responsible for monitoring monthly, quarterly and annual reports from residential Managers in terms of timeliness, accuracy and written content.</li>
<li>Works in cooperation with the Residential Managers and contracted maintenance personnel to ensure required maintenance of the home is completed.</li>
<li>May be required to teach DDS/Agency required in-services. This may require becoming a certified instructor (i.e.: CPR, First Aid, PMT, etc).</li>
<li>Reviews all requests for major expenditures prior to being forwarded to Executive Director.</li>

<li>Works cooperatively with support personnel in achieving quality assurance through written auditing system as well as scheduled home visits (minimum 3 per month).</li>
<li>Supervises and monitors Residential Managers in the areas of policy compliance with regard to appropriate documentation, client services and facility operations. Meets on a monthly basis with the Clinical Director to review problem/exceptional areas in relation to client programs being adhered to. Ensures all subordinates job descriptions are being adhered to and follows up as necessary.</li>
<li>Coordinates and supervises policy development and compliance in applicable areas of Agency programs and operations. Monitors compliance in accordance with Agency policies, DMR standards, contractual requirements and applicable licensing and zoning regulations. </li>
<li>Coordinates with Clinical Director with all abuse/neglect investigations ensuring notification/ documentation and follow through.</li>
<li>Reports and immediately responds to any violation of individuals' rights directly to the Executive Director. Conducts investigations as directed by the Executive Director.</li>
<li>May be required to work in any home as direct care staff covering any shift as determined by the Executive Director.</li>
<li>Provides emergency consultations and services and maintains availability by the use of an emergency pager.</li>
<li>Attends in-service training, seminars or other opportunities for professional development as made available by the Agency. Provides training for Agency personnel as required. Actively participates in staff meeting, trainings, etc.</li>

In accordance with North Carolina regulations, Personal Care Assistants do not perform skilled nursing services including:&nbsp; 1. administering medications, 2. taking physician orders, and 3. performing sterile or invasive procedures. This role focuses exclusively on non-medical personal care and support.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
<ul>
<li>Certified Nurse Aide (CNA), Certified Home Health Aide, or demonstrated competency per agency policy</li>
<li>At least 18 years of age</li>
<li>Ability to read, follow care plans, and document services accurately</li>
<li>Empathy, patience, and professionalism</li>
<li>Ability to work independently while following supervision guidelines</li>
<li>Flexible schedule that will allow on-call and&nbsp;weekend work</li>
<li>Current CPR certification</li>
<li>Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (or dependable alternative transportation)</li>
<li>Pre-employment health clearance, including TB testing, as required</li>

Job SummaryWe are seeking a Personal Care Aide to join our team. In this role, you will make a difference in the lives of people with with mental illness and developmental disabilities by enhancing their quality of life. Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene needs, light housekeeping and errands, dispensing medication, and other tasks that improve the client’s living environment and standards. The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, and reliable.&nbsp;Responsibilities&nbsp;

<li>Assist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises</li>

Qualifications

<li>Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines</li>
