The Residential Support Specialist – Adult Group Homes is a Paraprofessional responsible for providing Psycho-Educational and supportive therapeutic interventions that are intended to meet the mental health, developmental disability, and/or substance abuse needs of clients with significant functional deficits or who because of negative environmental, medical or biological factors, are at risk of developing or increasing the magnitude of such functional deficits. What Youll Do:

<li>Team Leadership Train, mentor, and empower residential staff in behavior strategies, daily routines, and youth engagement.</li>
<li>Administrative Oversight Manage schedules, documentation, compliance tasks, and household operations to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.</li>
<li>Health, Safety, &amp; Compliance Conduct regular safety checks, ensure staff certification requirements are met, and uphold all licensing standards.</li>

What Were Looking For:
<ul>
<li>Experience: Background working with youth in residential treatment, special education, juvenile justice, or behavioral health settings. Experience supporting individuals with co-occurring diagnoses and high behavioral needs preferred.</li>
<li>Education: Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, Human Services, or a related field preferred.</li>
<li>Leadership Ability: Confident and compassionate leadership style that encourages accountability, teamwork, and professional growth.</li>
<li>Resilience &amp; Judgment: Able to stay calm under pressure, think critically, and respond to high-stress situations with clarity and purpose.</li>
<li>Strong Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport with youth, staff, and partners.</li>
<li>Organized &amp; Responsive: Skilled in time management, prioritizing tasks, and meeting regulatory expectations.</li>
<li>Requirements: Valid Oregon drivers license (or transferrable MVR), ability to pass a DHS background check, and completion of pre-employment drug screening.</li>
<li>Bonus: Prior supervisory or leadership experience in adolescent-focused programs.</li>
