Essentials:

You will work closely with the Director of Product Operations and cross-functional stakeholders to optimize and support our Salesforce platform (including Litify and supporting apps). Position Summary:
As an Attorney on our Family-Based immigration team, you will be part of a team of Attorneys and Case Managers that help our global clients navigate the US immigration system. You will work on immigration matters including family- and humanitarian-based adjustments of status, family petitions, consular processing, petitions to remove conditions on permanent residence, citizenship, as well as humanitarian-related applications (DACA renewals, TPS registrations and re-registrations, affirmative asylum, and more). In this role, you will help immigrants come to the U.S. or stay in the U.S. - it's truly rewarding work.
 
This position can be fully remote from any U.S. location, or based in either ourTroy, MI or Ann Arbor, MI office as an in-person or hybrid role. Please note - although this role can be remote, all work must be performed within the United States.
 What youll be doing:
<ul>
<li>In collaboration with the other Family-Based team members, you will support our clients to prepare and submit a variety of family-based and naturalization applications.</li>
<li>You'll conduct in-depth conversations with clients to explain visa application processes, coordinate with clients to gather detailed supporting information and evidence, and answer client questions about application process steps, timelines, and costs.</li>
<li>Draft family-based and naturalization application forms and letters.</li>
<li>Compile immigration application documentation to be sent to government agencies.</li>
<li>Collaborate with other team members in the preparation of responses to correspondence issued by government agencies.</li>
<li>Log client-related and case-related information into our immigration case management system, and take steps to ensure that all client records in the system remain accurate and updated, as well as to inform clients of their ongoing immigration-related updates.</li>
</ul>
What skills and experience you'll bring:

<li>1+ years of experience working in the family-based immigration field as an attorney.</li>
<li>Ability to prioritize and manage a busy workload in an efficient manner and consistent with numerous legal deadlines.</li>
<li>Ability to collaborate professionally and effectively with team members.</li>
<li> Excellent communication skills, including the ability to break down complex legal concepts into language that is easy for clients to understand.</li>
<li> Patience to conduct frequent, educational correspondence and/or calls with clients summarizing their application processes and answering their questions.</li>

Jackson Walker, the largest law firm in Texas, has an exciting full-time employment opportunity for Legal Administrative Support in our Fort Worth office. This role provides high-level administrative support to attorneys, Legal Administrative Assistants, and Paralegals. Legal Administrative Support will maintain positive contact with clients, attorneys, and support staff; and observe confidentiality of client, personnel, and firm matters.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES: 
Specific duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

<li>Prepare, proofread, and format legal documents such as correspondence, pleadings, and contracts.</li>

<li>Proficiency organizing electronic files and documents using a document management system (iManage experience a plus).</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of different practice areas within a law firm and their workflow processes in order to provide appropriate support.</li>
<li>General familiarity of legal terminology, legal documents, and court systems.</li>
