Job DescriptionA well-established national litigation firm is seeking a General Liability / Product Liability Associate Attorney to join its team in Southern California. This opportunity is available in either the Los Angeles or Irvine office, with flexible hybrid work options.The firm is known for handling complex civil litigation across a range of industries, including toxic tort, product liability, general liability, commercial disputes, and public entity defense. The team emphasizes collaboration, client partnership, and practical, results-driven advocacy.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage a diverse caseload involving general liability and product liability defense matters.
• Handle cases for both local and national accounts throughout California.
• Conduct and defend depositions, including experts and fact witnesses.
• Prepare and respond to discovery requests, motions, and pleadings.
• Draft, file, and serve court documents (experience with e-filing preferred).
• Participate in trial preparation and provide trial support as needed.
• Maintain detailed and timely billing records.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of experience in general liability and/or product liability defense.
• JD from an accredited law school.
• Licensed and in good standing to practice in California.
• Strong experience in motion practice, depositions, and case management.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented, efficient, and organized work style.
