About the Role
Data is the lifeblood of Taskrabbit, and we are looking for a visionary leader to join as our Director of Data Engineering. Your Areas of Expertise:

<li>2+ years of experience establishing and enforcing data lifecycle management (such as data retention policies and data disposal procedures).</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience in leading data initiatives for compliance, including working with regulations like GDPR, CCPA, or similar, and supporting organizations in successfully achieving and maintaining certifications such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001.</li>

Compensation &amp; Benefits:
At Taskrabbit, our approach to compensation is designed to be competitive, transparent and equitable. Our total compensation consists of base pay + bonus + benefits + perks.
The base pay range for this position is $181,000 to $252,000. This range is representative of base pay only, and does not include any other total cash compensation amounts, such as company bonus or benefits. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above, and will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, geography, and level.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

What You Will Be Doing
Provides on-site technical assistance to help troubleshoot and repair equipment. You will be maintaining customer relationships and product lines, solving technical issues, and gain training on proprietary equipment to become a full solutions technician.&nbsp;
What You Need for this Position
<ul>
<li>Minimum of 3 years field service, packaging, maintenance or related experience; 5 years preferred.</li>
<li>Mechanical/Electrical background; Robotics + Automation experience is a plus&nbsp;</li>
<li>Troubleshooting PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical circuitry</li>
<li>Frequency Drives (VFDs)</li>
<li>&nbsp;AC/DC + Servo/Stepper Motor experience&nbsp;</li>
<li>Previous experience with electromechanical packaging or food equipment is a plus</li>
<li>Friendly client facing/customer behavior</li>
<li>ENJOYS traveling; military backgrounds tend to excel&nbsp;</li>
