Job Summary
The Chemistry Lab Analyst will perform moderate to high complexity testing on non-clinical specimens. Processes specimens, performs test preparation, specimen verification and tracking, all related clerical functions and general clean-up tasks for routine as well as high complex tests. Reports, analyzes, and verifies environmental results, which are substantiated by the proper use of quality control systems. Must recognize problems, identify causes and determine alternative methods and solutions. Actively contributes to quality assurance activities and participates in proficiency testing.
Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU BRING (Required Qualifications)

<li>Academic or industry experience working with T cells in a research setting&nbsp;</li>
<li>Familiarity with gene-editing technologies (e.g., CRISPR, TALEN, ZFNs) and delivery platforms (e.g., viral vectors, LNPs, exosomes)</li>
<li>Previous involvement in in vivo studies or willingness to learn animal handling and vivarium protocols</li>
<li>Strong organizational and communication skills, with comfort operating in interdisciplinary project teams</li>
<li>Prior experience with CRO collaboration or CMC workflows is a bonus</li>

Purpose:
This position is a developmental role, providing college level students an opportunity to practically employ and supplement their course work in a plant environment. Typically, the co-op arrangement is established in the Sophomore year of college and alternates semesters thereafter for three co-op experiences of increasing responsibility.
Job Functions/Accountabilities (Essential &amp; Marginal):

<li>Support one or more experienced engineers in performance of assignments, spend time shadowing actual operations, and have unique assignments that support larger projects as well as experience the day-to-day workings of engineering.</li>
<li>Perform daily review of NBR and ACM reactions and maintain comprehensive record of polymerization conversion and charge Mooney.</li>
<li>Investigate polymerization irregularities and failed charges daily. Document off-specification and aborted charges.</li>
<li>Monitor plant utilities and issue usage report to management team daily. Issue summary total usage report at month end.</li>
<li>Execute small projects at the direction of the Plant Manager, coordinating work with multi-discipline projects team.</li>
<li>Assist with scanning and saving project documents for capital project folders.</li>
<li>Perform drawing reviews to verify field installation versus P&amp;IDs and equipment drawings.</li>
<li>Assist in ongoing migration of historical documents to electronic records.</li>
<li>Assist in redefining pipe and equipment labeling strategy and implementation.</li>
<li>Participate in process management of change (MOC) activities and attend meetings bi-weekly.</li>
<li>Participate on environmental improvement team and attend bi-weekly meetings.</li>
<li>Participate in review of new engineering specifications and assist in adoption.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
Education:
Enrolled in a four (4) year or more college degree program in with Chemical Engineering major.
Skills and Abilities:

<li>Ability to identify, formulate, and solve complex engineering problems by applying principles of engineering, science, and mathematics.</li>
