<li>Ensures 100% completion of semi-annual unit inspections as required by management and works with the onsite team to correct unit deficiencies following the procedures outlined in the Operational Policies and Procedures Manual (OPPM).</li>
<li>Ensures all recertification notices are prepared and distributed according to timeline specified by management. Ensures successful completion of 100% of all annual recertifications by project due date as specified in the OPPM.</li>
<li>Develops and maintains good tenant relations; adheres to all applicable Fair Housing laws.</li>
<li>Develops and maintains excellent rapport with local government agencies and other local agencies (i.e. fire department, police department, senior centers).</li>
<li>Completes and submits monthly occupancy and accounting reports. Submits timely month end reports and other reports as required by management and as outlined in the OPPM.</li>
<li>Maintains accurate tenant files in compliance with established management procedures and HUD regulations. Keeps tenant files and office files organized, properly maintained and secured.</li>
<li>Follows company guidelines related to the use of petty cash and monthly reconciliations.</li>

Experience and Education:

JOB SUMMARY: 
Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) assist in the day-to-day support of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role of UCP of Georgia DSPs involves assisting adults with daily tasks such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, transportation, and social activities. Our DSPs understand the unique strengths and challenges of each individual they serve, tailoring their support to promote personal growth and independence.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul>
<li>Engages residents in activities of choice, which reinforces ISP goals.</li>
<li>Provides transportation and supervision for residents as dictated by individual program.</li>
<li>Ensures that all information regarding daily activities, problems and needs of residents are recorded properly in daily log.</li>
<li>Ensures each resident’s personal hygiene and grooming needs are met.</li>
<li>Uses appropriate body mechanics to lift, move, and position and provides prescribed exercises and physical care to residents.</li>
<li>Inspects home at beginning of shift to ensure that home meets all safety requirements, checking for clutter and dangerous objects. Corrects deficiencies or submit written report to supervisor outlining deficiencies by end of shift.</li>
<li>Conducts evacuation drills, both fire and severe weather, as directed by supervisor. </li>
<li>Follow program plan for meeting all potential emergencies and disasters, such as medical, fire, severe weather and missing persons.</li>
<li>Cleans and sanitizes all appliances, utensils and work surfaces in accordance with the Personal Care Home Rules and Regulations guidelines.</li>
<li>Cooks and prepares meals.</li>
<li>Reports any problem with equipment used by residents to supervisor.</li>
<li>Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms, kitchen, and telephones daily in accordance with Personal Care Home guidelines.</li>
<li>Ensures compliance in the area of responsibility during assigned hours with local, state, and federal rules and regulations applying to Personal Care Home and UCP Residential Services.</li>
<li>Complies with policies and procedures to ensure that confidentiality requirements are upheld.</li>
<li>Supports and protects the fundamental human, civil, constitutional, and statutory rights of clients and families as defined by agency.</li>
<li>Must be able to push, pull and lift a minimum of 50lb with or without reasonable accommodations.</li>
