GENERAL SUMMARY:
The MC Resident Care Specialist assures the day-to day care of our residents is provided in a sensitive, professional and effective manner. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Seniors Prefer Home Care is looking for a Caregiver to join our team. The Caregiver is responsible for the physical care and emotional support of our clients who may no longer be able to take care of themselves due to illness, injury, surgery, or disability.
The ideal candidate must be able to care for our clients and their property with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect. This person will encourage and remain empathetic to the clients at all times.
Responsibilities:&nbsp;

<li>Home assistance – Provide light housekeeping, run errands or provide transportation if needed.&nbsp; Accompany clients to appointments and monitoring with medications. Prepare meals, purchase food and provide personal assistance with general living needs.&nbsp; Personal services could include toileting, bathing, feeding and grooming. .</li>
<li>Companionship – Provide companionship and conversation by stimulating, encouraging and assisting an individual.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
Requirements:&nbsp;

<li>High school diploma preferred.</li>
<li>Must be able to complete a Criminal Background report.</li>

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

<li>CNA preferred but not required, Home Health Aide will be considered</li>
<li>High school diploma or GED</li>
<li>Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray (we will help you get these if you dont have them)</li>
<li>Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile with proof of insurance</li>
<li>Adhere to HIPPA and maintain client confidentiality</li>
<li>Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and communicate effectively</li>
<li>Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds</li>
