<li>Conduct ongoing outreach to all residents via phone, email, and outreach at people’s doors.&nbsp; Provide resources and referrals to residents as needed.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Facilitate educational and community-building events for residents onsite. &nbsp;</li>
<li>Maintain the confidentiality and privacy of residents and comply with regulatory requirements.&nbsp; Archive all required forms and case notes securely.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Distribute newsletters, brochures, and other relevant materials to residents, ensuring that communication accommodates language differences, cultural differences, visual impairments, and other necessary accommodations as required by residents.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Participate in activities related to understanding institutional and structural racism and building cultural competence.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Collaborate with the Property&nbsp;Manager and other site staff to resolve resident issues.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Follow Bellwether principles, policies, and procedures; embody Bellwether values.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Occasionally, travel to other locations to train and collaborate with other Bellwether Resident Services staff.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Complete all reports in an accurate and timely manner.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Complete all required training each year.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
Who You Are: &nbsp; Minimum Requirements&nbsp;
<ul>
<li>Direct experience providing services to low-income households, seniors, and/or adults with disabilities, preferably including the provision of information and referral services, preferably in a housing setting.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations, including multi-cultural, age, and disabilities.</li>
<li>Experience navigating public assistance programs, such as Medicaid, Medicare, or SNAP.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Knowledge of mental health issues and familiarity with the mental health system.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Excellent oral and written communication skills.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Proficiency in the MS Office suite, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Ability to work courteously and effectively with community groups, staff from partnering agencies, and volunteers.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Experience in de-escalation, conflict resolution.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Ability to maintain regular, reliable attendance records.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Ability to occasionally move boxes, tables, and equipment as needed for events and distributing donations to residents. &nbsp;</li>
<li>Must be on site up to 32 hours per week.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Occasional weekend and evening shifts.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
Desired Qualifications&nbsp;
<ul>
<li>Familiarity and experience with social service&nbsp;resources,&nbsp;mental health, and substance use treatment services&nbsp;for low-income families in the Seattle area and Washington State.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, or related field - four years of equivalent professional experience may be substituted for a degree.&nbsp;</li>
