Job Description
Staff Force is currently seeking an experienced MIG/TIG Combo Welder to join a reputable manufacturing team in Austin. This is a great opportunity for a skilled welder with strong technical expertise and a commitment to quality.
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Fridays off)
Pay Rate: $22 to $25 per hour – Depending on Experience (DOE)
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>
Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of materials, including stainless steel
</li>
<li>
Operate and maintain various types of welding and fabrication equipment (e.g., mill, drill press)
</li>
<li>
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
</li>
<li>
Follow all quality standards and maintain knowledge of inspection equipment and quality levels
</li>
<li>
Ensure proper welds and adherence to safety protocols
</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>
10+ years of welding experience
</li>
<li>
Strong experience with MIG and TIG welding, especially with stainless steel
</li>
<li>
Ability to interpret and work from blueprints
</li>
<li>
Skilled in operating equipment such as mill machines and drill presses
</li>
<li>
Familiarity with inspection tools and quality control processes
</li>
<li>
Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused
</li>
</ul>
