What You’ll Do
As a Mid-Level IT Specialist, you’ll provide enterprise-level support for secure IT systems and infrastructure—ensuring system integrity, compliance, and performance in classified and unclassified environments.
 
Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Deliver Tier II/III support for engineering, program, and security teams</li>
<li>Administer Windows infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy</li>
<li>Secure and patch systems per DoD STIGs and NIST RMF guidelines</li>
<li>Support Microsoft 365, virtualization (VMware), and endpoint configurations</li>
<li>Maintain operational documentation, system baselines, and SOPs</li>
<li>Monitor systems for performance, uptime, and security posture</li>
<li>Assist with audits, incident response, and cyber compliance activities</li>
<li>Onboard/offboard users and manage access for secure lab environments</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
What You Bring
<ul>
<li>U.S. Citizenship (Required)</li>
<li>Active TS/SCI with CI Poly (Required)</li>
<li>Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field</li>
<li>4+ years of IT experience in secure or regulated environments</li>
<li>Able to work occasional off-hours support based on mission needs</li>
<li>Some physical requirements (e.g., lifting up to 40 lbs. for hardware setup)</li>
</ul>
Technical Skills:
<ul>
<li>Experience with Windows 11, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy</li>
<li>Application and software configuration on classified and unclassified systems</li>
<li>Familiarity with cybersecurity standards (RMF, STIGs, DoD protocols)</li>
<li>Working knowledge of scripting with PowerShell or other automation tools</li>
<li>Understanding of virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V)</li>
</ul>
Soft Skills:
<ul>
<li>Detail-oriented with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication</li>
<li>Comfortable working in a team-driven, security-conscious environment</li>
</ul>
