POSITION SUMMARY:
The Center Floater provides support across all classroom environments to ensure a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning experience for children enrolled in the Head Start program. This role assists classroom staff as needed to maintain an atmosphere that promotes play, exploration, and learning. In addition, the individual serves as a Bus Monitor, supporting the safe transportation of children to and from Head Start centers by assisting the bus driver with boarding, supervision, and emergency procedures.

<li>3-5-year experience working with young children in a classroom setting preferred.</li>
<li>Be eligible to obtain KDHE program approval. </li>
<li>Obtain and uphold current First Aid and CPR certification. </li>
