<li>Attend to individual care needs and get to know the client's unique preferences and personalities.</li>
<li>Notify management of changes in mental or physical condition and recommend adjustments in the level of care and service.</li>
<li>Assist clients in life skills and other life enriching activities as indicated on their individual care plan.</li>
<li>Assist clients with 1 on 1 personal care and home management as instructed by and documented on the written plan of care.</li>
<li>Assist and facilitate activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal-care and hygiene, leisure activities and socialization</li>
<li>Help local seniors at home with shopping and/or light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation and&nbsp;companionship.</li>
<li>Always ensure client safety.</li>

Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Dedication to and passion to serve seniors with excellent customer service skills.</li>
<li>Positive attitude and the flexibility to perform various duties in service to the clients&nbsp;are keys to success.</li>
<li>Must be at least 18 years of age.</li>
<li>Ability to make choices, decisions and act in the client’s&nbsp;best interest.</li>
<li>Possess&nbsp;written and verbal skills for effective communication and a level of understanding.</li>
<li>Competent in organizational and time management skills.</li>
<li>Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.</li>

<li>Companionship – Provide companionship and conversation by stimulating, encouraging and assisting an individual. </li>

Requirements:

<li>High school diploma preferred.</li>
<li>Must be able to complete a Criminal Background report.</li>
<li>Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at a time</li>
<li>Ability to reach, bend, kneel and stand for (sometimes) a long period of time</li>
