Here's What You'll Do:
Assist adults with physical and developmental disabilities in their daily lives. Assist with complete care of dietary, hygiene, bathing, grooming and dressing needs, including assisting with restroom and other activities of daily living (ADL's).

Essential Functions
<ul>
<li>Outline and prepare daily routine(s) for clients' (visual and active) as written in Individual Program Plan.</li>
<li>Support the needs and goals of each resident by participating in the development of IPP/ISP goals.</li>
<li>Maintain a clean, safe and healthy environment for the clients.</li>
<li>Support the needs and goals of each resident by taking them to visit family and friends, to preferred leisure/recreation activities, and encouraging them to socialize among peers.</li>
<li>Assist clients with personal care such as grooming, bathroom needs, changing clients' undergarments and/or clothing if needed.</li>
<li>Prepare daily meals and assist with clean-up.</li>
<li>May need to transport clients in personal vehicle and reimbursed for mileage.</li>
<li>Report any incidents or problems and communicate daily with administers.</li>
<li>Perform other duties assigned</li>

Education and Experience:
&nbsp;
<ul>
<li>1 year experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities, crisis management, behavior management, and ABA.</li>
<li>High School Diploma/GED</li>
<li>Must be at least 21 years of age.</li>
<li>Must have a California Driver’s License.</li>
<li>Candidates must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including but not limited to a background check.</li>
<li>CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) (Preferred or willing to obtain within the first 6 months of hire).</li>
<li>Must have First Aid / CPR.</li>
</ul>
Physical Requirements

<li>Must be able to lift 50lbs.</li>
<li>Able to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.</li>

<li>Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating</li>
<li>Help with mobility around the house or outside (walks etc.)</li>
<li>Plan and prepare meals</li>
<li>Assist with physical therapy exercises</li>
<li>Perform housekeeping duties</li>
<li>Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency</li>
<li>Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary</li>
