Position Overview
The Operating Room RN – First Assistant employs the nursing process to deliver outstanding patient care while ensuring accountability for assigned patients. Key responsibilities include:

Collaborating with other departments to coordinate patient care

<li>
Maintaining patient rights and confidentiality
</li>
<li>
Providing leadership and evaluation for other caregivers

Qualifications
Licensure:
<ul>

Active RN Temporary Permit or RN License in Missouri
</li>
</ul>
Experience:
<ul>
<li>
At least 2 years of intraoperative experience as both scrub and circulating nurse
</li>
<li>
3+ years preferred
</li>
</ul>
Certifications:
<ul>
<li>
BLS/ACLS – required within one year of hire
</li>
<li>
CNOR &amp; RN-First Assistant certification required within one year
</li>
<li>
Preferred Certifications: CNOR, CRNFA
</li>
</ul>
Education:
<ul>
<li>
BSN preferred
</li>
</ul>
