JOB DESCRIPTION:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Position Summary:In this position, the team member will operate all terminal equipment to distribute the cargo safely and efficiently to the appropriate cargo holds or warehouse as per the operating plan and instructions; Operate as a member of a team, responsible for coordinating information flow between each crew member and location staff/management in the receiving and loading of cargo.

Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Must have 5+ years hydraulic equipment operating experience</li>
<li>Valid Driver's License with own reliable transportation, must be a truck.</li>
<li>Must have personal cell phone for communications</li>
<li>One year experience in the construction industry</li>
<li>Experience as a construction laborer</li>
<li>Must hold a high level of common sense relative to equipment and machinery operation</li>
<li>Mechanical aptitude based on past experience around equipment, motors, hydraulic, electrical systems, ETC.</li>
<li>Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen</li>
<li>Must successful complete background screening for ATF</li>
</ul>

<li>Ability to perform essential functions of the position</li>
<li>Ability to lift 50 - 100 lbs., 30 - 40% of the time</li>
<li>Stooping and bending 30 – 40% of the time</li>

Job description
The Electrician Apprentice performs a variety of tasks and assists other craft workers in the construction, maintenance, and repair activities on solar PV systems. This role requires applicants to enroll in a company supported, Registered Apprenticeship program where you will complete BOTH OJT hours, and course work after hours which will be monitored. Enrollment is Mandatory for this position. This is a four year program and once completed you will be able to test for a Journeyman's license.
Requirements:
What you’ll do

<li>Take direction from crew foreman with the installation of solar projects in the field.</li>
<li>Maintains a clean job site: picks up all tools and equipment and secures job site each day to eliminate potential hazards.</li>
<li>Shipping, receiving and storing construction or conservation materials and equipment</li>
<li>Loads and unloads trucks using appropriate equipment.</li>
<li>Delivers materials to construction site and/or storage facility.</li>
<li>Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. Brings problems to the attention of the foreman, safety director or HR manager.</li>
<li>Acts as a trouble shooter on current projects</li>
<li>Maintain and monitors quality standards</li>
<li>Assures compliance with Company safety policies and OSHA and/or MSHA safety standards</li>
<li>Post-construction site clean-up performed on a timely basis.</li>
<li>Other Duties as assigned.</li>
