URGENT need for 1-2 Journeyman Electricians local to the Memphis TN area.
- This is a desirable, long-term project, building a large commercial addition.
- Must be willing to work Mon-Sat, plenty of OT.
- Willing to take a drug test prior to start
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5+ years on-the-job experience in new commercial rough-in and electrical installations
- Knowledge of the current National Electrical Code (NEC) and local codes
- Ability to understand and install off of blueprints and specifications that are job specific
- A professional approach, able to represent the company positively to customers, vendors, and the public
- Appropriate certifications (OSHA- company can assist with obtaining) and valid driver's license
Key Responsibilities:
- Uphold a safe work environment by strictly following company and OSHA safety guidelines; promptly report any violations to immediate supervisor - the Foreman.
- Install electrical wiring and systems for a large commercial addition.
- Rough-in, run MC, pipe bending, wire pulling, outlets, switches, lighting, etc.
- Utilize various electrical tools, ladders, scaffolding, and lifts safely
