What You'll Do:
<ul>
<li>Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate within a healthcare location.</li>
<li>Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related needs as they arise.</li>
<li>Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns and/or suspicious activity.</li>
<li>Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions to Allied Universal and site management as required.</li>
<li>Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions, information, and security-related requests while maintaining a professional presence.</li>
<li>Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits, helping to prevent unauthorized entry.</li>
<li>Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.</li>

Minimum Requirements:

<li>Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.</li>
<li>An armed guard card or license is required.</li>
<li>Must be at least 21 years of age.</li>
<li>CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.</li>
<li>Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.</li>

Primary Role: Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates. Answer alarms and investigate disturbances. Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises. Write reports of irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
