Job Summary
This position is stationed in the female clientele locker room. 
The Spa Attendant’s overall responsibility is to provide premier quality service to the spa clientele by efficiently and properly cleaning the spa and maintaining it so that it is fully functional.&nbsp; Spa Attendants will perform any combination of general/industrial cleaning duties to maintain a clean and orderly environment.
Responsibilities and Duties

<li>Responsible for maintaining a clean, sterilized spa environment.</li>
<li>Complete a maintenance requests as issues arise. In charge of minor repair tasks such as changing lights bulbs.</li>
<li>Maintain the stockroom and clean and organize kitchen.</li>
<li>Report shortage of inventory for all supplies related to spa attendant position (laundry, cleaning, etc.) so that there are no interruption of duties.</li>
<li>Launder all towels, linens and bathrobes to ensure 100% stocked and ready to accommodate guests.</li>
<li>Conduct spa walkthrough ensuring that common areas, locker rooms and treatment rooms are properly cleaned.</li>

<li>Check-in spa deliveries and compares deliveries received as compared to packing slip.</li>
<li>Utilize spa laundry facilities and machinery to wash spa towels robes, bed sheets and blankets daily.</li>

Responsibilities

Provide safe, personal care based on each client’s individualized Plan of Care

Requirements

I. Position Purpose
The Caregiver / Home Care Aide provides non-medical, in-home support and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) &amp; Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL) to clients. The primary function of this role is to ensure client safety, well-being, and comfort by delivering compassionate and reliable care according to an established client care plan.
II.&nbsp; Duties and Responsibilities
The following list of duties is not intended to be restrictive or all-inclusive. The employee may perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
<ul>
<li>Personal Care: Assists clients with ADLs/IADLs, including but not limited to, bathing, dressing, grooming, ambulation, transfers, and toileting, while maintaining client dignity and privacy.</li>
<li>Companionship: Provides social and emotional support through conversation, engagement in hobbies, and recreational activities.</li>
<li>Meal Preparation: Plans, prepares, and serves meals and snacks that adhere to the client’s specific dietary requirements and preferences; may provide feeding assistance if required.</li>
<li>Light Housekeeping: Performs household tasks essential to a safe and clean client environment, including laundry, changing linens, dishwashing, and tidying living spaces.</li>
<li>Health Support: Provides medication reminders from pre-portioned containers. Observes, documents, and reports any significant changes in client’s physical condition, behavior, or cognitive status to the supervising Case Manager.</li>
<li>Transportation &amp; Errands: Accompany transportation to medical appointments, social activities, or errands such as grocery shopping using either a personal or client vehicle.</li>
<li>Documentation: Maintains accurate and timely records of services provided, client activities, and observations in the required format.</li>
</ul>
III. Qualifications
<ul>
<li>A. Education &amp; Experience:
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma or GED preferred.</li>
<li>Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a caregiver capacity (professional or private) is preferred but not required.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>B. Licenses &amp; Certifications:
<ul>
<li>Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification in the State of Michigan is strongly preferred but not required.</li>
<li>Valid CPR and First Aid certification is preferred and may be required within 90 days of hire.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>C. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
<ul>
<li>Knowledge of personal hygiene, basic nutrition, and housekeeping best practices.</li>
<li>Skill in providing compassionate and respectful care to diverse populations.</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).</li>
<li>Ability to maintain client confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.</li>

IV. Conditions of Employment
