Job Description:
Flowers Home Care is seeking a compassionate and dependable Personal Care Assistant PCA to provide non medical companion care services to clients in DeKalb County. This role focuses on companionship and daily support to help clients remain safe comfortable and independent in their homes.
Responsibilities:
Provide companionship and emotional support
Assist with light housekeeping tasks
Help with simple meal preparation
Provide reminders for medications and daily routines
Observe and report changes in client condition
Maintain professionalism confidentiality and respect at all times
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old
Valid government issued ID
Current TB test per agency policy
CPR and First Aid certification
Georgia criminal background check
Reliable transportation
Ability to perform companion care and light household duties
Professional dependable and compassionate demeanor
Qualifications:
Experience as a PCA caregiver or companion sitter is preferred but not required
Willingness to learn and follow care plans and agency policies
Schedule:
Shifts vary based on client needs
