As a Computer Scientist for Simulation, you willbe responsible fordesigning andmaintaininginterfaces between different simulation components for the digital twin of the vehicle.You willbe responsible forkeepingaccuratedocumentation and testing while followingsoftwaredevelopmentbest practices.You will alsobe responsible fordeveloping andmaintainingtools foroperatingthe simulation for testing and analysis of the vehicle design.
KeyResponsibilities:
- Support development of simulation models
- Develop tools for specific vehicle analysis using the simulation
- Drive a culture of best practices for software engineering
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree inComputer Science, ElectricalEngineering,or related discipline
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Experience with popular version control utility git and agile development
- Experience inC,C++, Python, and ROS2
- Experience with unittesting, documentation, and code coverage tracking
- Experience withDocker
- Experiencedesigning interfaces for applications
- Self-motivated, focused, and driven to meet criticaldeadlines
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Google Test (gtest)
- Previouswork on an interdisciplinary team
- Experience with statistical analysis
- Experience with Linux, Windows, and MacOS
Any offer of employment for this position is conditional upon Lunar Outpost receiving the LTVS Phase II contract from NASA. If the contract is not awarded to Lunar Outpost, this offer will be considered null and void, without further obligation to Lunar Outpost.
