- 8 or more years of project management experience, including multi-million dollar software projects.
- Proficiency in Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience with customized software development projects (workflow, file management, reporting).
- Experience in vendor performance evaluation and management.
- Experience with IT controls and compliance frameworks (e.g., Texas Administrative Controls).
- Experience in project budgeting, cost estimation, and financial oversight.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct all activities for customized software development projects.
- Manage procurement processes, including RFOs and vendor selection.
- Oversee and direct software vendor activities and deliverables.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
- Implement and monitor IT controls and ensure project compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement for software quality and processes.
- Manage problem resolution, issue tracking, and risk mitigation.
