Payer Enrollment Coordinator Compensation
- The pay for this position is $16.38 per hour
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Payer Enrollment Coordinator Highlights
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- The required availability for this position is Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
- Worksite: Cumberland, RI 02864
- In-office 4 days per week, with an option to work remotely on Fridays after training
Payer Enrollment Coordinator Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of payer enrollment applications (initial and revalidations) for clinics and providers
- Provide quality control and compliance oversight for Medicare and Medicaid enrollments
- Resolve claims and billing issues related to payer enrollment
- Maintain up-to-date provider information in credentialing and billing systems
- Research, complete, and maintain compliance with credentialing and audit processes
- Communicate with providers and field teams for revalidation, signature collection, and data verification
- Analyze trends and identify issues impacting enrollment, reporting findings to management
- Help minimize application denials and deactivations to improve key metrics such as DSO, aged claims, and bad debt
- Collaborate with payer relations, billing, credentialing, and clinical operations teams to support seamless integration
Payer Enrollment Coordinator Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience working with government payers (Medicare/Medicaid)
- High School Diploma or GED (verifiable) required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field preferred
- Prior CVS or Aetna experience is a plus
- Experience in provider relations or healthcare administrative support
