Job Details
Responsibilities
- Help effectively solve legal problems for clients by analyzing the situation, understanding their needs, and creating a strategic plan of action
- Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, and marital settlement agreements, handle the division of marital assets, judgments, and orders for a high volume of cases
- Attend court proceedings as needed to ensure effective representation of clients
- Collaborate with Managing Attorney to effectively move files through the civil litigation process
- Consult with potential clients to ascertain their needs and decide on the next steps
- Engage in matter management to ensure timely progress in all cases
- Confirm all work is consistently quality-reviewed for case law and written content/clarity
Qualifications
- At least 4 years of family law experience
- Active admission to the State Bar of South Carolina
- JD degree from an accredited school
