Position Overview
EELA is seeking a dynamic and passionate Teacher for our 3-year-old classroom. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, patient, and deeply committed to creating a warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that supports the growth of the whole child.
Qualifications
- CDA, or Associate’s in Early Childhood Education or related field (required).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with preschool-aged children, preferably 3-year-olds.
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate practices.
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Current CPR/First Aid, background check, and TB test (or willingness to obtain).
- Passionate, energetic, and committed to continuous growth and learning.

Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement lesson plans aligned with Ohio’s Early Learning Standards and EELA’s philosophy.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Support children’s cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development through play-based and structured activities.
- Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress and classroom happenings.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and developmental milestones.
- Collaborate with co-teachers, assistants, and administrators to support classroom goals.
- Uphold licensing, safety, and EELA’s quality assurance standards.
