Job Title: Quality Assurance Inspector
Job Description
As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will be responsible for completing typical visual inspections, paperwork checks, and final kit inspections with minimal aid. You will adhere to all applicable procedures and policies while performing your duties and document all inspection results using proper Good Documentation Practice (GDP). Furthermore, you will complete all required company, Quality Management System (QMS), and departmental training promptly and maintain a deep understanding of the quality logs and relevant aspects of the QMS.
Responsibilities
- Complete typical visual inspections, paperwork checks, and final kit inspections with minimal assistance.
- Follow all applicable procedures and policies during work duties.
- Document all inspection results using proper GDP.
- Complete all required company, QMS, and departmental training in a timely manner.
- Understand and maintain all quality logs relevant to the department.
- Perform tasks with company culture, quality policy, and operating policies in mind.
- Maintain effective interdepartmental and intradepartmental communications.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in quality control, including the use of calipers and performing quality inspections.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 25 pounds regularly.
- Capability to push up to 600 pounds with assistance occasionally and 300 pounds regularly.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma.
- At least 1 year of lab work experience.
- At least 1 year of incoming inspection work experience.
- Proficiency in PC navigation, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Suite products.
- Experience with inspections of mechanical, electrical, and optical components/assemblies.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
- Understanding and use of procedures and batch records.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
