Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Litigation Paralegal to support our legal team in handling a variety of cases, particularly in the areas of personal injury and medical malpractice. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in case preparation, document management, and trial support, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service and representation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, from pre-litigation through trial.
- Conduct legal research and gather information relevant to cases.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Organize and maintain case files and ensure all documentation is up-to-date.
- Assist in the preparation of trial materials, including exhibits and witness lists.
- Coordinate with clients, experts, and court officials to facilitate case management.
- Review and summarize medical records, depositions, and other case-related documents.
- Manage deadlines and ensure timely filing of legal documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Paralegal studies.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal in litigation, with a focus on personal injury and medical malpractice cases.
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures related to litigation.
- Proficient in legal research tools and case management software.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines under pressure.
