We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Structural Steel Project Manager to lead our projects with expertise and precision. This key role demands a professional with a robust background in estimating and field operations within the structural and miscellaneous steel industry. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of construction processes, exceptional analytical abilities, and a proven track record of successfully managing projects from inception to completion.
As the Structural Steel PM, you will act as the primary liaison between the company, clients, and construction teams, fostering clear communication and collaboration. You will champion a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance and proactively addressing challenges to maintain project timelines and budgets. This position grants you the authority to make critical decisions regarding cost, schedule, and on-site operations, directly influencing project success.

**Position Key Responsibilities

**Estimating:
**
- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for structural steel projects.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and documentation to develop comprehensive bids.
- Create detailed material, labor, and equipment cost estimates.
- Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to secure accurate pricing and material availability.
- Establish and implement efficient job procedures to ensure timely buyout, shop drawing approvals, and material delivery.
**Project Management:

Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of structural steel construction projects. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Work closely with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to meet project specifications.
Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to maintain timelines and budgets.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure safety compliance and adherence to project requirements.
**Field Experience:

- Provide hands-on leadership and supervision on construction sites.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during construction.
- Ensure all work meets relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Train and mentor junior staff and field crews to enhance team performance.
- Maintain accurate and detailed daily reports on activities, progress, and challenges.
