Job Description

This is a 1st shift Assembly Position supporting the chain build department. The current schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with mandatory overtime on Fridays from 6:00 AM to either 2:30 PM or 4:30 PM. There is an opportunity to work up to 50 hours per week leading up to the holiday shutdown from December 23rd to January 5th.

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a team in a work station with three people, each having distinct responsibilities.
  • Assemble chains using hand tools and other equipment.
  • Pass the chain to the next person in the assembly line for further completion.
  • Follow instructions and ensure quality in mechanical assembly tasks.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in mechanical assembly for at least 2 years.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools.
  • Ability to read and follow assembly instructions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Good job tenure.

The facility is located in Grand Rapids, MI, and is somewhat loud due to the constant testing of AGVs. This is a Contract position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
