Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated R&D Chemist to join our innovative team. In this role, you will troubleshoot issues with existing technologies, assist with customer challenges, and develop new UV Flexo/UV Screen Ink technologies tailored to customer needs. Your work will also involve additional projects in EB Liquid and UV/EB coatings, evaluating raw materials, and optimizing formulations for cost savings. You will provide technical support to manufacturing and publish project reports and other documents for sales and customers. Maintaining lab equipment and ensuring high standards and specifications for processes, products, and tests will also be part of your responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Run lab equipment, including inkometer, color matching, and formulation.
- Prepare standards and specifications for processes, products, and tests.
- Analyze and manage technical aspects of projects and determine methods and tests to be applied.
- Conduct research on manufactured products to develop and improve products, collect data, interpret results, and record them.
- Conduct research into the composition, structure, properties, and relationships of printing inks, coatings, and raw materials.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in ink and coating formulation.
- Extensive knowledge of UV/EB Liquid Ink and Coatings.
- Experience with ink chemistry, formulation, and coating.
- Proficiency in color matching and laboratory practices.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
