FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE.
Status: Full-Time
Location: California (Remote or On-Site Options)
Salary: $120,000 - $215,000 (depending on years of experience)
Bonus: Multiple bonus opportunities available
We are working with a highly reputable California-based legal practice specializing in workers' compensation defense. With a focus on professional growth, technology-driven solutions, and a people-first culture, this firm is consistently recognized as a top workplace in the legal sector.
What You'll Do:
- Represent clients in workers' compensation cases across various stages of litigation
- Conduct legal research and offer strategic legal advice
- Draft legal documents including pleadings and motions
- Handle depositions, hearings, and court appearances
- Negotiate settlements effectively and ethically
- Maintain organized case files and adhere to internal protocols
- Build and nurture client relationships through proactive communication
What We're Looking For:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Active member of the California State Bar (required)
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills in complex legal matters
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Comfortable using legal tech platforms and tools
- Minimum of 2 years WC defense experience
- Prior experience in workers' compensation law is strongly preferred
