Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Screen Printing Operator to join our dynamic production team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in screen printing operations, including setup, operation, and maintenance of screen printing equipment. As a Screen Printing Operator, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality printed products for our clients. Typical pace on the floor is 50+ dozen per hour.
Responsibilities:

Machine Setup and Operation: Set up screen printing machines and equipment, including screens, squeegees, and inks. Operate machines to produce prints on various materials.

Quality Control: Ensure each print meets quality standards. Inspect printed items for defects and make adjustments as necessary.

Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on screen printing equipment. Keep machines clean and in good working order.

Ink Mixing and Color Matching: Mix inks to achieve desired colors and shades according to job specifications.

Production Efficiency: Work to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Collaboration: Coordinate with the design and production teams to ensure
accuracy and efficiency in the printing process.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of print jobs, including details on ink usage, machine settings, and production output.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines in the workplace, particularly when operating machinery and handling chemicals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a screen printing operator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of screen printing techniques and machinery.
- Ability to accurately mix colors and work with various inks and materials.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and handle heavy equipment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Additional Skills (Preferred but not required):
- Experience with automatic screen printing presses.
- Familiarity with graphic design software.
- Familiarity with Print Shop Software, i.e. Printavo, Google Suite, Trello
