Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Middle School Special Education Teacher opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Chapel Hill, NC. This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' academic and social development in a dynamic middle school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' unique learning needs.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create an inclusive learning environment.
  • Utilize various teaching strategies and assistive technologies to support student engagement and success.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instructional methods accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with parents and school administrators.
