Purpose:
Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies. Determines and/or follows methods sheets and assembly drawings in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or verbal form.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble power supplies, sub-assemblies (transformers, EMI box, etc.) controllers, TWTAs, KPAs, SSPAs, and other electrical equipment.
- Assembles mechanical components including soldering and crimping
- Identify and rework defects
- Read and understand Assembly Instructions
- Use small hand tools, magnifying lamps, microscopes, rulers and calipers
- Read and understand Change Orders and assembly prints
- Understand component identification
- Assemble mechanical hardware
- Performs inspection of all materials and documentation prior to performing assigned tasks.
- Ensures tooling and test equipment used is properly calibrated.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities when required.
- Multi-task and adjust quickly to high paced teamwork environment

Education:
- High School diploma.
Experience:
- Candidate must have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the electronic manufacturing industry with emphasis on mechanical assembly capabilities.
