Now Hiring: Experienced Babysitters Needed – Independent In-Home Care
Starting pay: $17.00/hr minimum (DOE). Wage increases eligible after performance review.
Location: Tucson
Position: 0–25 hrs/week | W-2 Employee
Jovie of Tucson is hiring experienced babysitters to provide independent, in-home care for local families. This is a part-time, on-call role ideal for caregivers comfortable working alone with children and looking for flexible scheduling.

What You’ll Do
- Provide independent, in-home childcare for infants through school-age children
- Engage kids in safe, age-appropriate activities
- Support daily routines (meals, naps, playtime, bedtime)
- Diapering, potty training, and soothing infants/toddlers
- Transport children when needed (reliable vehicle required)
Assignments are matched within 30 miles of your home based on availability. (This does open eligiblity for Gas Reimbursement)
This Role Is For You If You:
- Have 1+ year of professional childcare experience
- Have worked alone with children for 4+ hour shifts
- Have independent experience with children ages 1–13
- Can offer 2 consistent weekdays (Mon–Fri) between 7AM–7PM
- Can provide 2–3 professional, non-family childcare references
Not a fit if your only experience is daycare, classroom, or assisting another caregiver.
Pay & Perks
- Minimum Starting Rate is $17.00 (DOE), paid bi-weekly (W-2)
- Gas reimbursement (IRS rate)

Additional Requirements
- 18+ years old
- Valid driver’s license & reliable vehicle
- CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to become certified)
