Role Summary:
This position is responsible for developing and supporting the Company’s internet service provider (ISP) network infrastructure to ensure the integrity, consistent availability, and maximum performance for end-user internet service subscribers of the Company.
This role is required to work without direct supervision, remotely, and sometimes off hours. This role also requires the willingness to work a flexible schedule that may require weekends and/or holidays and to participate in an on-call rotation schedule to assure we maintain 24x7x365 network coverage.
We rely on our associates for flexibility and foresight, while maintaining confidentiality related to high-level systems and operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
· To provide top-tier technical support related to the company’s ISP network and service.
· Configuration of routing and switching equipment, including subnetting and management of company’s IP matrix.
· Monitor network health for capacity, impairments, or outages utilizing various monitoring tools, which includes being attentive and responsive to system generated alerts.
· Troubleshoot and repair of network as needed, which may include working with field personnel, carriers, equipment vendors or customers.
· Schedule and communicate planned maintenance windows for system upgrades or repairs with the appropriate disciplines throughout the maintenance window including communicating at the onset and conclusion.
· Vigilant support of best practice and continued enhancement of network security measures and procedures.
· Provide afterhours “on call” based support as needed.
· Design, configuration, documentation and administration of ISP system protocols and standards.
· Other directives as required.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours and on weekends when required.
Education & Experience
• At least three years of experience in related field.
Physical Requirements
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
