Job DescriptionControls Engineer

Position Overview
The Controls Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for manufacturing processes, specifically within the food manufacturing industry. This position aims to enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop control systems for manufacturing equipment and processes.
  • Program and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs to optimize production operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Provide technical support and training to manufacturing staff on control systems and operations.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to food manufacturing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Proven experience in controls engineering, particularly in the manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming and HMI design.
  • Experience in the food manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
