Role Overview
The Robot Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for developing, commissioning, and optimizing industrial robot applications for automation projects. This role involves hands-on programming, system integration, and on-site support to ensure successful deployment and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently develop, write, and debug robot application programs and related automation software.
- Lead or support the installation, commissioning, and testing of robots and their peripheral equipment.
- Participate in on-site system commissioning and customer acceptance processes.
- Provide technical support to the sales team and conduct robot application training for customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Automation Engineering (or related field).
- Hands-on experience with industrial robots such as ABB, Fanuc, or KUKA or other mainstream brand robot application experience, team management experience is preferred but not required;
- Proficient in robot system debugging and integration with peripheral equipment.
- Solid foundation in electrical/electronic principles and familiarity with PLC control systems.
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and travel as required.
- Proficiency in English and Chinese/Mandarin (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
- Must have valid U.S. work authorization (OPT holders welcome)
