Job Title: CNC Grinding Technician
Job Description

Responsibilities
- Setup and operate CNC grinding machines to perform precision ID, OD, form grinding, multi-axis grinding, and flat surface grinding.
- Utilize and dress abrasive wheels, including diamond and super-abrasive types.
- Study blueprints to visualize grinding tasks and plan sequence of operations.
- Perform plunge, traverse, face, form, multi-axis, and angle grinding.
- Recognize and address abrasive wheel wear.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and indicators to achieve workpiece tolerances of .0001”.
- Select and use equipment like grinding magnets, vises, sine plates, and specialty fixtures.
- Apply trigonometry, geometry, and general math skills for angular and position calculations.
- Correct for unexpected taper and other inaccuracies in grinding.
- Operate multiple machines simultaneously.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Essential Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in setting up and operating CNC grinding machines - ID/OD/Surface Grinding.
- Ability to use precision measuring devices such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Experience performing full setups and editing programs using G and M codes.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and setup sheets.

Work Environment
Work in a climate-controlled, clean, and organized facility. The schedule is set up as 4 days a week with 10-hour shifts, Monday to Thursday, with opportunities for overtime on Fridays and Saturdays.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
