Hands of Heartland is looking for compassionate and caring individuals to join our team and provide support to the individuals we support as a Vocational Lead Direct Support Professional (DSP)/ Caregiver in Lincoln, NE.

What You’ll Do: Work directly with individuals with developmental disabilities at the vocational day center, community, and other various settings to ensure they have a meaningful life. You will support DSPs along with working side by side with them as they assist individuals with day to day living activities and developing skills vocationally and in community settings.

Hours: Full-time hours Monday through Friday from 8a-4p.

Skillset Needed for the Job: Ability to work independently in a fast paced, team-oriented environment. Flexible and willing to adapt to change. Know the value of communication. Desire to support people and encourage them to reach goals. Understand the importance of documentation.

Requirements: Must be 18 years old. Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance. Must be able to pass all background checks.

Pay: Starting pay is $19/hour. Pay range is $19-$20 per hour. We pay more for experience and if you have a CNA license. Incentives also available.
