Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Soliant is seeking a passionate and experienced Special Education Teacher to lead a K + 1st Grade self-contained Life Skills classroom for the uping school year. This is a full-time, on-site position designed to support students with significant developmental and adaptive needs in a structured, nurturing environment.
The classroom is well-supported, with a collaborative team in place including an ECSE Teacher, ARD Facilitator, and District Behavior Specialist to assist with planning, behavior strategies, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized instruction and life skills programming aligned with each students IEP

Create a structured, safe, and engaging classroom environment focused on munication, functional academics, and independence

Collaborate with the ECSE teacher, ARD team, and behavior specialist to monitor student progress and implement behavior and academic strategies

Participate in ARD meetings and maintain pliance with IEP goals, data collection, and district/state reporting requirements

municate regularly with families and support staff to ensure consistency in services and expectations
Requirements:

Valid Texas Special Education Teaching Certification

Experience with early elementary students and/or students with significant needs preferred

Strong classroom management, collaboration, and data tracking skills

Must be available to begin by August 13, 2025

Additional Information:

This position requires a mitment of 37.5hours per week, with hours from 7:15 AM to 3:45 PM
