Data Analyst
Data Analyst (New York, NY): Collaborate with Portfolio Managers to integrate data-centric approaches to the investment process. Identify, ingest, and analyze cutting-edge alternative datasets. Back-test datasets and tickers to determine correlations with key performance indicators. Work with SQL; Python; CFA; R; Excel; Bloomberg; investment management; performing market analysis; Python automation, including streamlining Excel dashboard generation with Openpyxl module; developing alternative data strategies leveraging credit card data, app data, and sentiment data; applying statistical modeling and machine learning techniques; conducting data analysis and forecasting using Python libraries, including Pandas, NumPy, and statsmodels; building ETL tools and managing databases with Python, SQL, and Snowflake; and, managing code repositories using GitHub. Reqs. Bachelor's degr + 3 yrs of exp. Salary Range: $170,000.00-$190,000.00 per year.
