Position Overview
A leading manufacturer of industrial systems and engineered solutions is seeking a Strategic Project Manager to oversee cross-functional projects involving sales, engineering, and manufacturing. The ideal candidate will coordinate complex, customer-driven projects—ensuring that products are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
This position requires a results-oriented professional who excels in communication, organization, and leadership, with the ability to guide teams through all phases of project execution in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of multiple engineering and manufacturing projects from initiation through delivery.

Develop detailed project schedules and resource plans in collaboration with cross-functional leaders.

Conduct project cost analysis, monitor expenses, and ensure alignment with initial estimates.

Serve as the primary liaison between internal departments, customers, and external vendors.

Manage project documentation, approvals, and progress tracking to ensure transparency and accountability.

Perform risk assessments related to schedule, cost, and quality; identify mitigation strategies.

Facilitate communication between engineering, operations, and production teams to maintain timeline integrity.

Track project milestones, address challenges proactively, and ensure that deliverables meet customer expectations.

Support process improvements and continuous enhancement of project management practices.

Perform additional duties as assigned by senior leadership.
Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field required.

3+ years of experience in project management within a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environment.

PMP, CAPM, or PgMP certification preferred.

Strong technical understanding of engineered products or process systems.

Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software such as MS Project.

Demonstrated ability to analyze data, manage budgets, and meet tight deadlines.

Comfortable interacting directly with clients and supporting engineering teams when needed.
