- Set up and calibrate CNC lathes according to engineering specifications and work orders.
- Load and unload materials, ensuring proper alignment and secure fastening.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency, making adjustments as necessary.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC lathes to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes.
- Maintain accurate records of production runs, tool usage, and maintenance activities.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
- Proven experience in CNC lathe setup and operation.
- Strong understanding of machining principles and blueprint reading.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
