An international company with a facility near Wixom, MI is currently seeking a Field Service Technician for long-term opportunities with their growing team. Field Service Technicians will be working full-time and rates are anticipated to be between $40.00 -$45.00/hour with overtime pay available over 40 hours, based on each candidate’s experience and education. Local candidates are preferred, but any candidate within the continental US is welcome to apply as long as the travel requirements can be met.

Qualified Field Service Technicians will possess most, if not all, of the following skills and experience:

• 5+ years of recent / relevant experience as a field technician with industrial equipment with set up and start up experience
• Experience performing troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, combustion and piping systems
• Good working knowledge of industrial electrical control systems
• Strong mechanical aptitude and welding experience
• Ability to debug Allen Bradley HMI and PLC’s.
• Ability to travel up to 95% overnight for installations within the US, with some travel to Canada, Mexico, and internationally on occasion.
• Must be able to work in the United States (no H-1 sponsorship or student visas considered).
• Complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, references, etc.
