Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school district is seeking two full-time Special Education Teachers to join their team for the uping school year. One position will support a K5 caseload and the other a 35 caseload. Both roles involve working with students who have academic and functional needs, including reading, writing, math, social-emotional learning, and executive functioning skills.
Position Overview

Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM3:30 PM

Additional Hours: Occasional later afternoons for IEP meetings or twice-monthly staff meetings

Contract: 181 days per school year

Position 2: Grades 35

Student Needs: Academic and functional skill development (reading, writing, math, SEL, executive functioning)

Qualifications

Active state Special Education teaching license required

Experience supporting both academic and functional skill development
